Membership
Membership in the Society is open to any person authorized by the Life Office Management Association (LOMA) to use a LOMA designation.
Associate Membership is open to any person who is a company Educational or Principal Representative to LOMA or who is an active LOMA student, as defined by LOMA

President's Message
Welcome to the LOMA Society of Greater New York's website!
The LOMA Society of Greater New York (LOMAGNY), founded in 1943, is a non-profit professional, career development and educational organization serving insurance and financial industry professionals in the Greater New York Area. LOMAGNY is the oldest Society affiliated with the LOMA organization based in Atlanta, Georgia. Currently, our Society is comprised of more than 230 members employed by more than fifteen companies in the tri-state area.
Our Society promotes professionalism and career development through educational support for those who have completed, or are in the process of completing, their FLMI or FFSI designations. Throughout the year we present general meetings on various topics of interest to those in the financial services industry.
The Society keeps members informed of what is happening in the industry through newsletters and seminars. Our events offer members and guests the opportunity to network with other professionals in the industry.
